In 2024, Spain's oil consumption amounted to nearly million metric tons, up from nearly million metric tons in the previous year. During the period in consideration, consumption of oil in the European country increased by some **Â million metric tons. Furthermore, Spain ranks amongst the world's major oil consuming countries.
