The Middle East consumed *million metric tons of oil in 2024, an increase of roughly ****percent in comparison to the previous year. During the period under consideration, figures grew by over *** million metric tons, peaking in 2024. As of 2023, there was a worldwide oil consumption increase. By comparison, European oil consumption decrease within the same period.
