The data have been collected through a survey which covered rural workers from 31 provinces, 1,730 districts and 8,613 villages in 2025.
A migrant laborer is defined as someone who leaves their place of origin for a period of more than six months in a bid to find work elsewhere. They either stay in their home province or move to another province in their search for employment.
