This statistic shows the results of a survey among Arab respondents as to whether a woman should have the right to initiate a divorce. The survey was conducted in 2011, the responses were then sorted by respondents who considered religion to be important, and respondents who considered it not important. 69 percent of respondents who said religion was important also agreed that women should have the right to initiate a divorce.
