The region is also home to one of the largest trading industries in the country at the Port of New York and New Jersey. This port includes a large estuary, regional airports, and a plethora of rail and road networks. Silicon Alley is one of the country’s largest technology industry hubs, including internet, telecommunications, and biotechnology. In 2022, there were some *business establishments in the region that focused on professional, scientific, and technical services.
