*718 experts qualified in sustainable development responded to this online questionnaire, coming from the following sectors: 3% government, 31% services and media, 14% university and research, 32% companies, 12% NGOs, and 8% others.
The experts surveyed come from 73 countries in the following regions: 29% North America, 26% Europe, 18% Asia-Pacific, 18% Latin America, and 9% Africa and the Middle East.
72% of them have more than 10 years of experience in the field.
The question was posed as follows: "Which companies do you believe are leaders in integrating sustainable development into their business strategy?"
