Wildfires have dominated the headlines of all Spanish newspapers due to their severity during 2022 and again in 2023. More than ** hectares were burned that year. However, this phenomenon is not new. In recent years, significant wildfires have occurred, such as those in Cortes de Pallás and Minas de RÃo Tinto, the latter being considered the most severe recorded both in Andalusia and nationally since the beginning of the 21st century.
