The survey was conducted from March 1 to 5, 2021, with a sample of 5,025 women from the following countries: - Italy: 1,000 people; - Spain: 1,020 people; - France: 1,005 people; - Germany: 1,000 people; - United Kingdom: 1,000 people. The data for the year 2016 come from a previous Ifop study carried out from June 6 to 9, 2016. The source does not specify the sample size.

It is in France where the rate of sexual dissatisfaction was the highest among the five European countries included in the study. Indeed, in 2021, more than **** of French women reported being dissatisfied with their current sex life compared to ** percent of Italian women and ** percent of German women. It is worth noting that dissatisfaction increased in all countries compared to 2016, except for the United Kingdom.
