To combat greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the French government has implemented the France Relance plan, in which energy renovation plays an important role, given that the building sector is responsible for about a quarter of GHG emissions in France. This plan aims to eliminate energy-inefficient housing known as "thermal sieves" by 2030. Thus, it is expected that *** billion U.S. dollars will be allocated between 2021 and 2022 to carry out these renovation works in public, private, and social real estate, as well as in very small and small to medium-sized enterprises.
