This chart shows the areas dedicated to organic farming in Europe in 2017, by country, in hectares. It appears that more than two million hectares were devoted to organic farming in Spain. Other countries, such as Italy, France, and Germany, had areas dedicated to organic farming exceeding one million hectares.
