Online travel bookings can be made on mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) as well as on computers (desktop or laptop). The Trekksoft website provides indicators in its "Travel Trend Report" on the distribution of bookings made on these different types of digital devices.

The number of online travel bookings made on mobile devices in 2017 already exceeded those made on computers. In 2018, bookings made on mobile devices continued to increase: more than ** percent of sales were made there.
