Approximately 62 percent of the Mexican population considers obesity to be the main health problem in their country, a figure that is not surprising given that Mexico leads the Latin American ranking of the percentage of obese population. In contrast, Brazil has the lowest proportion of citizens who identify obesity as the main health concern, as health concerns in this country are more focused on issues such as stress and drug use.
