The chart shows the share of ethnic minorities in the population of China's autonomous minority regions by province. Thus, it was the Tibet province that had the largest share of ethnic minorities in 2020, with nearly percent of its population. In 2020, about percent of the population in the minority areas of Xinjiang belonged to ethnic minorities. One of the minorities is notably the Uyghurs.
