This chart shows the evolution of the number of live births according to the age of the woman giving birth in France between 2010 and 2023. Between 2010 and 2023, the number of live births to mothers under 30 years old was continuously decreasing. In contrast, the number of births to mothers over 35 years old increased between 2010 and 2022. The decrease in the number of births is particularly strong between 2022 and 2023, as their number decreases for mothers of all age groups, unlike in previous years.
