In the 2019 housing demand survey in Egypt, conducted by the World Bank in collaboration with CAPMAS, the primary reason households chose their residential area was proximity to relatives, cited by almost ** percent of respondents. This was followed by appropriate pricing and a suitable standard of living, which were identified as the second and third most important factors, at **** percent and **** percent respectively.
