In a 2024 survey conducted into generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) usage in Australia, of the GenAI tools included in the survey, Australians showed the highest awareness of ChatGPT, followed by the version of Meta AI integrated into apps such as Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. Over ** percent of respondents said they were aware of ChatGPT.
