A March 2026 survey found that 42 percent of MLB fans in the United States looked forward to the Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) system being implemented in the 2026 regular season. Meanwhile, 26 percent were opposed to the idea, and nearly one third said they had no opinion or were unsure.
