According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, jjamppong, a spicy noodle soup usually based on seafood or pork broth, was the most common menu item offered by Chinese restaurants in South Korea, with *** restaurants having this on their menu among those surveyed. This was followed by jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk. While many of the most common menu items offered belong to Korean-Chinese cuisine, a hybrid cuisine developed in South Korea by the Chinese population, some were also solely from Chinese cuisine.
