Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries were the most affordable packs throughout the period under consideration, with prices at **** U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour as of April 2024. On average, NMC battery packs were between ** and ** U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour more costly than LFP batteries, depending on the materials in the battery cathode.
