The 2025 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy was hosted in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. The opening game of the cricket tournament, which saw New Zealand beat hosts Pakistan by 60 runs, was played at the National Stadium in Karachi, which had a capacity of almost 35,000.
