U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are projected to decrease by ** percent by 2035 relative to 2005 levels under current policies. However, under a pathway in which the Trump administration repeals key climate regulations as well as repealing all components of the Inflation Reduction Act starting in 2025, U.S. GHG emissions would fall by less than ** percent during the same period.Â
