In 2023, around ** percent of employees reported experiencing moderate heat stress in the workplace, while nearly ** percent found the temperatures significantly burdensome. During their commute, however, most employees either did not feel impacted by the heat or experienced only mild heat stress.

The DAK-Gesundheitsreporte takes into account people who were actively employed in the relevant years and were members of DAK-Gesundheit for at least one day and were entitled to sick pay benefits from DAK-Gesundheit as part of their membership. The entire database comprises around *** million DAK-Gesundheit members.
