According to a bike study published by linexo by Wertgarantie in 2024, the primary reasons why non-cargo bike owners are interested in acquiring a cargo bike are the possibility of transporting freight and children comfortably and to take care of errands more efficiently. More than half of all respondents with interest in owning a cargo bike indicated that these were the reasons for their interest.
