According to a bike study published by linexo by Wertgarantie in 2024, interest in buying a cargo bike is highest in Bremen among German federal states, closely followed by Thuringia. In these two states, around a fifth of respondents, who did not already own a cargo bike indicated that they would be interested or very interested in a cargo bike.
