During Steam's October 2024 Next Fest, which took place from October 14 to 21, the demo of the first-person tactical shooter video game Delta Force had the highest number of peak concurrent players, almost reaching 40,000 players. SUPERVIVE and Strinova also attracted many players, reaching peaks of 16,887 and 14,894 concurrent players, respectively. Steam's Next Fest is a week-long event that takes place several times throughout the year, in which hundreds of free demos are made available to users.
