According to a survey in 2023, the majority of the respondents strongly disagreed with the recognition of First Peoples land rights being unfair to other Australians and the statement that they should "just try harder". On the other hand, respondents indicated of strongly agreeing with special cultural protection and the need for more governmental efforts in the reconciliation.Â
