In a 2024 conducted survey into Australia's dietary preferences, around a quarter of respondents indicated that they had already reduced their meat intake, with a further ** percent of respondents planning to reduce their meat consumption. Just over half of those surveyed said their meat consumption had remained the same, with a few respondents also seeing their meat intake increase or planning to actively consume more meat.Â
