According to a survey conducted in March 2024, 52 percent of the respondents strongly agreed that irreconcilably separated couples in the Philippines should be allowed to divorce so they can get married legally again. While the overall majority agreed with the reason for divorce, 32 percent of the respondents strongly disagreed with this.Â
