Jewish and Arab respondents were asked to rate the extent to which they feel empathy towards the other ethnic group on a scale of one to six: six: one = not at all; six = to a great extent.
Data is based on a series of surveys conducted by the source. The final survey was held between January 1 to 18, 2024. It included 1,036 respondents from Israeli society and was weighted in proportion to the national population. 533 respondents were Jewish, and 503 were Arab.
The October 2023 survey was conducted after the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
