In the 2024 general elections in India, Bhartiya Janta party led with a vote share of 36.5 percent. It was followed by Congress with 21.1 percent. The National Democratic Party (NDA) in India won the majority of Lok Sabha seats standing at 292, a fall from 343 seats in 2019. Majority of seats in the alliance were won by BJP with 240 seats.Â
