In a survey conducted among suppliers of major supermarket chains in Australia in 2023, two of the leading issues encountered by suppliers surveyed were payment later than the agreed terms and deductions off invoices by the retailer without the consent of the supplier. Across the four major supermarket retailers, suppliers of Aldi supermarkets reported the lowest prevalence of issues, at ** percent of respondents reporting no issues.
