According to a survey conducted in April 2024, just a few weeks before the European Parliament elections, ** percent of the French respondents believed decisions regarding environmental issues and defense, should be taken by the European Union within the framework of common policies. On the other hand, there were only ** percent who thought the same should be done regarding social issues.
