Risk conversation is the frequency at which a potential risk to a bank or the wider industry is mentioned. These mentions by the crowd are correlated against a set list of probable risk factors including downtime, fraud, exploitation, etc.
Study of seven UAE banks: Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dubai Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Mashreq Bank UAE
Based on a 2022 study of roughly 96,000 twitter posts about seven banks in the United Arab Emirates, downtime, and perceptions of business conduct made up nearly ** percent of the total risk conversion volume. Discrimination, and protests were the least concern amongst studied posts, with the latter mentioned in only *** percent of posts.
