Between 2018 and 2022, the number of male citizens of Turin municipality remained relatively stable, with a decrease of only 4,126 and a growth rate per year of -0.08 percent. On the contrary, the female population dropped by 9,269 individuals, with a more marked rate of -0.23 percent. However, women have always constituted the majority of the city's inhabitants in the considered time frame.
