As of June 30, 2023, adidas had the largest number of stores in China among leading sportswear brands, with stores in shopping malls and *** stores in department stores. Nike followed with stores in shopping malls and *** stores in department stores. However, both of them saw a negative net increase in the number of stores in China within the first six months of 2023, while domestic brands were opening more and more stores.
