According to a 2023 survey, Americans were politically divided on how much attention the U.S. government should pay to problems overseas. Republicans have grown more concerned about domestic problems throughout the last few years, with ** percent in 2023 stating that the U.S. should concentrate more on problems in the United States than other countries. In comparison, only ** percent of Democrats agreed that the country should focus more on domestic problems.
