Production volume for the distilling, rectifying, and blending of spirits in the European Union shrank by nearly 15 percent in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production rebounded by 23.5 percent in 2021 and a further 8.5 percent in 2022. However, in 2023, production volume decreased by 13.4 percent.
