According to a survey taken shortly after the start of the 119th Congress, over one-third of Americans either strongly approved or somewhat approved of the way Mike Johnson was handling his job as the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Of those, 67 percent of Republicans approved of the job he was doing, compared to 16 percent of Democrats.Â
