According to a survey from 2023, ** percent of so-called 'AI-first' biotech companies stated they use artificial intelligence in drug discovery substantially. This is expected since these are companies for which the usage of AI/machine learning is at the very core of their research. All in all, the AI adoption level is **** times lower in 'classic' pharma and biotech companies.
