According to data published in 2023, each of eight surveyed countries saw its average revenue per paying mobile user (ARPU) improve in the 12 quarters following the launch of 5G. Mobile operators can command higher prices for 5G services, with consumers benefitting from reduced latency and increased download and upload speeds in return.
