In July 2023, French households monthly consumption of goods was *** percent lower than in the base year of 2019. In general, since January 2019, the goods consumption of French households slightly decreased however three important variations in their consumption habits can be noticed. The first one happened in April 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. During that month, French households consumption was **** percent lower than in 2019. The second important variation occurred in November 2020 during France's second quarantine, during that month the consumption in goods of the French was **** percent lower than in the base year, and finally another noticeable variation happened in April 2021 when French households consumption was *** percent lower than in 2019.
