From 2012 to 2023, there was relatively little change in the percentage of individuals aged 11 or older who consumed carbonated beverages in Italy. In 2012, 59 percent of the population in this age group consumed such drinks, and by 2023, the figure had only slightly increased to 59.6 percent. The highest point of consumption occurred in 2019, when 60.7 percent of the population indulged in carbonated drinks.
