In 2025, there were around cases of whooping cough per 1,000 residents up to the age of four. Figures dropped since 2023. 2021 saw a new low in the number of cases, probably due to the lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, the number of cases was significantly lower than in previous years.
