According to a 2022 survey, the majority of people in the U.S. turned to local stations at least weekly for political news regardless of their political ideology. However, Republicans were much more likely to get their political information from Fox News than Democrats, with ** percent having tuned in to the station at least once per week, compared to ** percent of Democrats.
