A report held in June 2022 among Gen Z and millennials in the United States found that older millennials were the most likely to say they thought the most important thing that the news media should try to do was be neutral, with ** percent feeling that this was a goal to work towards compared to ** percent of Gen Z. Meanwhile, Gen Z were less concerned that the news media act as a watchdog of powerful institutions and people.
