In a global survey held between July and December 2022, ** percent of respondents answered that hiking and walking were the predominant mountain-related tourism activities in their countries. In contrast, ** percent of survey participants said that other activities, which included birdwatching, adventure, climbing, and mountaineering were the predominant mountain tourism activities in their countries.
