In 2025, **** of surveyed registered nurses said they were satisfied or very satisfied with nursing as a career. While this has recovered somewhat from the all-time low in 2023, career satisfaction remain lower than before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Interestingly, job satisfaction was even lower, showing that while most nurses were still happy with their career choice, they were unsatisfied with their current job.
