Turkey recorded the biggest decline in employment in agriculture from 2014 to 2024, of all economic sectors. In 2024, the construction sector reached the lowest number of employees at nearly 2.2 million. In the same year, the service sector in Turkey recorded the highest number of employees, at about 18.9 million people.
