Nearly new vehicles, called "kilometer 0 vehicles" in Spain, are vehicles which were initially bought and registered by dealerships or manufacturers, and resold to consumers, making the consumer the vehicle's second owner.

Most used plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (BEVs) sold in Spain in 2022 were passenger cars bought as company cars. Around used plug-in hybrid electric cars were sold to companies in the country, compared to just over of these sold to individual consumers and under bought as rental vehicles.
