In 2022, the share of primary care physicians who work in practices offering out-of-hours access varied greatly from one country to another. According to this 2022 survey, the percentage of surveyed doctors who work in practices offering access hours after 6 pm during the week ranged from ** to ** percent among selected countries. For example, that year, ** percent of doctors in France reported that their practice offered out-of-hours access to their registered patients. The United Kingdom and Germany followed with **** and **** percent of surveyed physicians stated to provide out-of-hours access during the working week, respectively.
